I love this store and frequent it quite often! The prices are very good, ladies tops at $5 and often half off! Not sure what the complaints are. They have a VIP program that emails when the sales are.
The chick with the chip on her shoulder needs to lighten up! She must have had a bad shop day? This is a fabulous resale shop with great prices - different items % off everyday! Also everyone of the volunteers are fantastic & so friendly! I am in this store at least once a week, if not more!
I'm not sure why the other review was so mean and untrue. I have been shopping here for years. The selection is great - it was 50% off everything . I got a brand new Calvin Klein dress for $15.00. Volunteers are very nice and always helpful. Judge for yourself. All the proceeds going to women and children in a local shelter. I would like to know if the other reviewer has ever volunteered for any thing. Don't think so
The pricing in this store is just WAY too high people! Not worth the trip! It feels like you're buying from an upscale resale consignment shop instead of a thrift store by the way these volunteers price items that are donated for heaven's sake! I'm sure if you slash the prices in half even more, you'll see more turn around in sales and money generated towards your cause. Another negative is that the volunteers there keep and hold items for themselves and their friends and families and don't give the frequent shopping customers a chance to purchase any of those items that are picked over by the volunteers first! When I was shopping there, I overheard the women talking about how nice something was that was donated and how they're going to be holding it in the back so they can buy it for themselves! I see too much of this going on in thrift stores and second hand stores and it's simply NOT RIGHT. Why are these women and men there allowed to pick, choose, and go through donated items and take all the good stuff for themselves and hold items for family and friends too? If they want to volunteer their time to a worthy cause, that's great. But I think they volunteer to be able to pre-shop! I thought this store was Christian-based? Looks like just a bunch of greedy elderly women in a gossipy click there.
