This store is such a cluttered mess that it is almost impossible to find what you are looking for. It is just as hard to get an employee who will help you. Also the parking lot is a danger to the public I nearly fell in a hole and twisted my ankle
No dressing rooms which I hate.I guess too many people left piles of stuff in them so they closed them. Too bad for us and them really. I am weary of buying clothing that I can't try on to see if it fits. I have been burned too many times.Prices are OK for clothing and it is somewhat organized for a thrift store . It is almost funny how they think some items should be locked in cases and priced as something "extra special" like an old film camera that nobody can even use today.Stuff in the cases is WAY over priced and not as precious as they believe.I still go there a couple of times per year just to take a look.
Way too stuffed with clothes ; probably because prices are too high. They would move a lot more stuff if prices were more reasonable. It is almost funny how they place some "prized items" in locked cases...it is mostly overpriced junk. They do have several nice sized dressing rooms. There is a "back room" full of pots and pans, old computer stuff, vases, old TV's,etc. if you are into that type of stuff. Shoes are mostly worn out as well as purses, etc. If you have an hour or so to dig thru the clothing you may find a deal. They also have tag sales which is your best bet.
This is a pretty big store. They have lots of things, lots of really good items. BUT, the prices, all I can say is wow. They had a little vintage Fisher Price toy in a looked case. That was in what I would consider poor to fair condition. Most of the pieces were missing. But someone decided to price this thing at over $50. They have a lot of very nice antique and vintage pieces but they are priced way over retail. Even over what you would expect to see at a high end antique shop which is really sad because every one of these items was donated by someone who wanted to help Veterans.
Stuffed full of clothes which tells me that prices are too high and little turnover. If you have time to dig thru the racks you can find a few nice items. They are really proud of some things like purses, some shoes, some coats, etc. Someone who knows something about pricing needs to step up to the plate. They believe that just because an item has a name brand tag that it is worth a regular retail price. They wold sell a lot more stuff if the prices were more reasonable.
The majority of the people who work at this thrift store seem to be a little burned out - if you can get them talking, they are nice, but if you just have a question while shopping, they can be a little rude. I have found some great things there, but it is a little more of a hunt than, say, a Goodwill.
