The Salvation Army Family Store

Great deals to be had on Wednesdays but employees seem miserable and I think for good reason. I saw an uppity supervisor be very snotty and condescending to a cashier. That nasty supervisor probably makes the store a horrible place to work..

The selection is always good. Clothing sorted in colors and the jeans in pants size. Good prices. Sell some nice houseware items like dishes, tvs, couches, etc. I am a regular customer

I like Wednesdays - 50% clothing items of 4 out of 5 colors. They have great kids clothes and books. Put seasonal items up front.

store dirty and not organized

It is a very nonclean store with no availability to refund.

The music is loud and annoying, but is a great place for bargains especially on Wednesday.

30 minutes before closing time they start announcing every few minutes that the store is closing soon and to start bringing your purchases to the front. It is sooo annoying. They should at least wait until 10 minutes before and just lock the door. They now annouce that everyone take their things off the hangers before you get to the register. I had a basket full of things and the girl actually watched me as I was removing hangers from each piece. The line was really back up, too. Finally, when I got down to about 10 pieces she said to hand her some and she would help. I guess they have decided we should do their work for them while they receive the paycheck. If I wanted a job there I would apply. Funny thing is I used to do this for them as a a kind and helpful gesture now I have no desire.
