Horrible experience prices are way too high mechanis is dirty I actually saw one of the workers in the back change the price for his (friend or family member)? Avoid at all costs goodwill does take returns AVOID

Manager is very very nasty. Thinks she owns the store and will tell you in a minute you can no longer shop there. Discriminates against people that are not hispanic.

Filthy store. I felt like I needed a tetanus shot after going there. Just because it's a second-hand store doesn't mean it needs to be dirty. So much merchandise that looks like it was literally rolled in dirt, and they want too much money for stuff. Severely overpriced. $100+ for a flat screen TV that I cannot refund if it breaks tomorrow? It seems Unique is beginning to copy Goodwill's playbook. Employees were constantly bumping into me and dropping stuff while running through the aisles placing items on the shelves. Speaking of the shelves, there wasn't much order to anything. I look for certain items and I found them all over the place, not concentrated in one area. It was like an easter egg hunt. Common things like DVD and CD media were very scarce compared to other stores. Thankfully there's other Unique stores close by so you can avoid this one at all costs.

the prices have gone up considerably.one worker told me they use the highest buy it now ebay price for name brands.49.00 for a name brand shirt is nuts.it was 55 new.no return policy on watches.a lady paid 79.00 for a watch.was told it needed a battery.it was junk she was out the money.go up the street to the next one.prices are more in line with thrift store shopping.

When the store first opened, the selection and pricing were GREAT!! I've noticed that more recently, the prices have escalated significantly to the point where you are almost better off buying new. However, if you are in the market for something like boys dress shoes, it can be worth it. I still do a lot of donating there, but a lot less buying now :-(

They forgot this is a thrift store.With prices they offered it became more antique store . Some prices are higher you can buy things somewhere else including eBay. I don't go there anymore. Hope their prices help people who suffering from Leprosy.

A big, big store with a big selection of clothing and housewares. Some books and games, but few worth looking at. Clothes are in good condition and include some designer names. However, prices are higher than at many discount stores. Clothes are well organized, sorted by size in aisles wide enough to navigate. Only two fitting rooms and only three garments allowed at a time, with a surly clerk standing guard. Crummy neighborhood, but worth the trip if you're nearby.

I had a bad experience at the Unique Thrift Shop in Watchung, NJ (Rt 22) and wanted to write about it. They sold me 3 fake items (1 had security tags on, so you thought it was authentic.) Anyway, I tried to return the next day, and they would not accept the return (even though in the news paper it said that they take returns. The manager who was dressed very unprofessionally (top was extremely low cut, revealing, like hooters or something.) This place is getting to too full of themselves (prices are very high) and unlike Goodwill (which accepts returns after 7 days) they do not. You can't even get an itemized bill (archaic right!) What charity are they giving to anyway?

Always find something, but the prices are getting to HIGH!! Stopped going on 50% off days, its a MAD HOUSE and its hard to find anything worth the trouble an loooooong lines...

Store is a mess. Prices on the items are often overpriced. CD cases never have the disc in them... Prices are outrageous in most cases. You can find a bargain once in a while but it seems like all of the electronics are high priced. Some VCRs are $6 but you can get brand new ones for $10 at Walmart.

one of the nicest thrift stores I know of. The biggest drawback is the inconsistency in reasonable pricing. Many items are ridiculously overpriced and remain so for MONTHS. There is a greed factor going on here.

Huge, packed and well organized store. Prices are a little high on some things and ridiculously high on others, but the selection is great and if you go on Mondays, everything is 25% off. Or, get a VIP card and get 25% on Thursdays as well. One of the better stores in the Unique chain in NJ.

They have very few english speaking staff and the prices are high. Every now and then you can get a bargin.

The employees in the store do not speak English, I would rate the customer service as a zero if I could and the prices are ridiculously high.

This is definitely the cleanest and best smelling thrift store I've ever shopped in. The selection is great but the pricing is high and inconsistent. Still, I visit almost every week!

store has signifigantly raised their prices since opening only a few short months ago :(

What a find!! And to top it off the salespeople are especially courteous, friendly and just all around NICE!!

This was my first visit. The place is well organized and clean. The prices are very reasonable. I walked out with a bag of things for only $20 !!!

This has become a favorite place to shop! It is large and easy to get around, very well lit and airy, and you check out quickly since there's always plenty of help at the registers. Clothing and linens are clean and pressed and easy to browse through. I've found some fantastic bargains. Visit them on Mondays for 25% off!
