I love this thrift shop because it's like an old-timey two-level department store and they've been around for over 50 years. It's always my first go-to when I need something and I've noticed there are lots of regular customers who come in almost daily. The shop has linens, kitchen stuff, adult and kid's clothing and shoes, some toys, hardware, a small furniture section, a book nook and lots of miscellaneous stuff but no electronics. There's also a side room with better/brand name clothing where I've gotten some really nice clothes and shoes. The staff is friendly and helpful and they'll greet you when you come in, by name if they know it. Sometimes when you check out they'll add up your purchases with pen and paper - kinda charming. The proceeds go to Mt. Carmel Catholic Church for various programs including youth programs and feeding the homeless, and to other local charities like the Humane Society, Lifehouse and Shoes for Uganda.
