You can find ah-mazing items (brand names, with tags, mint quality vintage) at rock bottom prices since you pay by weight. Items are just thrown in bins as is (dirty, wet, etc.) and organization is poor. Employees close off aisles, dump stuff in bins, then open the row up to customers. This is the best thrift store in Austin, and one of the best I've ever shopped anywhere. The quality and cleanliness of the merchandise is high, they constantly have tag sales on, and the staff, if not exactly friendly, is courteous in their bluntness. Mark at the front desk is terrific. I don't go here unless I am desperate. They are way overpriced and they don't always check the items before they go on the floor. I have taken dirty and/or torn merchandise to the customer service desk more than once. The location and parking are horrible.
