I love to visit Soaring Eagle Thrift Store. There are always wonderful treasures to be found at very reasonable prices. Merle and her staff are the nicest folks and I am always greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Charlie Dunn, Cedar Hill. (Read More)
Items here were higher priced than your average thrift shop, but there were several 'collectable' items that I've seen on eBay and Etsy. So in that regard, prices were pretty good. Store was very neat and clean. The staff were excellent, and pretty knowledgeable about some handmade soaps and bracelets that were made for the shop. (Read More)
I have actually walked out of this store several times without paying anything because the line is miles long. I have never found anything worth waiting 30 minutes in line to pay for. (Read More)

Complete and total waste of time. Very difficult to get to, although that is not their fault. The road is under construction making the businesses hard to get to. The store is nice and very large. They had mostly clothing, a fair bit of furniture and a small amount of housewares, toys and misc. But the prices were ridiculously high. I saw a kitchen gadet that was not new but it had its box, the had our marked over $29 but it was obviously from Walmart and the retail price was printed on the box was $14.98. Men's shirts averaged $7.99 for worn to very worn looking. Some nicer condition items were $9 - $10. Non name brand jeans for women were $10.99 and up. Badly worn couches for over $300 a stained mattress for $249. What's worse is everything in the place was donated it was all free to them. I've never been to A Salvation Army store that has such ridiculous prices. Whoever is responsible for setting the prices right doesn't know or doesn't care that it's supposed to be a thrift store. The furniture selection here is always depressing. It's mostly junk. I bought some glass appetizer plates there. They had the set broken out per plate at $2.99/ea. Even the cashier commented that she thought is was expensive. I bought them anyways b/c I thought the pattern was unique. (Read More)
