Small store, lots of stuff new (a pet peeve of mine with "thrift" stores), and prices are too high. Used stuff is quite junky, which isn't too big of a deal, but they should charge rock-bottom prices if they want to sell junk. Alpine store is the best restore location in Kent county. Well you can tell that the store got a bunch of employees or friends to write some fake reviews. Here is the truth... Selection - medium sized store with all the usual items you would find in a thrift store. The problem though is that they don't get much donations so you can go to the store a month later and will see mostly the same items. Pricing - varies from ok to super expensive. Overall higher than the other stores in the area. Organization - items are mostly sorted by the type of goods that they are. Toys, electronics, women's clothing, etc. Customer Service - overall poor. Most of the time there is not a cashier ready to check you out and they usually do not give receipts. Cleanliness - the store is literally dirty. Very clean, remodeled store. Staff is always friendly. Sections of the store are clearly marked, but every time I have gone there the clothes seem to be very mis-organized. Sizes are always in the wrong spot. (For example, in size Large you'll find a wide variety of other sizes thrown in.) Housewares section is smaller, but usually has some nice items. Not a place to find a steal-of-a-deal necessarily but is certainly cheaper than brand new.
