It used to be a great thrift store where you could find everything needed, clothes, bedding, shoes, appliances, warm winter coats, furniture, books, etc. everyday someone dropped off new items, I and many others looked forward to stopping by before our appointments but now Administration has limited what can be sold in the store, it feels very sterile, has lost it's charm and function. It has been a part of the hospital for a very, very long time, it's a shame, because it helped so many people...Administration has made a big mistake, they don't value this lovely shop... as usual staff being out of touch with patients needs. Shopping there is great, but if u want to donate items, make sure they are in new condition. Twice i wanted to donate furniture they wouldnt take it, but took houaehold donations. Today they wouldnt take my oak rolltop sesk because u derneath had a few minor scratches also the display cabinets because they said it would shake in their truck!! I had aent pics and they said yes.
