Hi Lorraine, This is a good question. It sdunos like you were put in a very difficult situation. I will consult with my fellow Board members and get back to you with a response. My initial perspective is that any time data is held from the community then no, it is not ethical as long as that data pertained to the initial research questions. Often, findings may not be included in final reports if they did not pertain to the main research questions. However, in this case, it seems as though the findings were not released for personal motivations and therefore that is not good use of information.
