Prices too high? Go to Macys and then come to Wagging Tails. Rude employees? I think there great. I have never had a problem at Wagging Tails. I love this store and the bargains I get. New Ann Taylor jacketfor $7.00 I never ask to use the restroom, their is a sign on the door clearly stating "No Public Restroon available".
The craft and sewing items are overpriced--the staff probably don't shop at crafts stores to know better. However, I love the DVD, CD, and book prices, which are lower than the prices at the library's stores for donated media. I've found some great household stuff here.
A little overwhelming in size. They have lots of stuff, but it seems like there's lots of the exact same stuff. Would rather have more variety to choose from rather than 10 of the exact same thing. Boring looking at rows and rows of the same vases. Prices are higher than other stores too.
So very organized and clean. The staff is always friendly and welcome. Even offered to check in the back for something I was looking for. Take your time browsing. Lots of treasures to be found.
I wanted to say why the 2 on pricing. I should note that the videos and media are reasonable. Clothing seems ok as they always have sales on that. The other stuff...it seems like anything of worth has it's price jacked up as if it were an Antique shop. Perhaps they know what their shoppers will pay better then I, but, I can get much better bargains elsewhere.
Love this store. Clean, organized, great deals, lots of brand new items cheap, friendly helpful people. Everything helps the animals. Great cause. Ask about the coupon savings at the register. Everyday things are on sale. Love the china and furniture selection.
Rude employees? I found the emplopyees to be most helpful. Always have smiles on their faces, easy to tell they enjoy their job. I always feel so welcome. The only thrift shop I will shop in. VERY clean, organized and prices are great.
I thought the prices were ridiculous here. Used birdcages were priced the same, if not higher, than new, for example. But what really bothered me was how unwelcoming and downright rude they were about my children. They were looking in the toy section, not making any noise or mess, yet the staff kept coming over to us and asking whether they were with me. They were obviously bugged that I had left them in the toy section while I was across the aisle looking at the books. (Approx. 10 feet away.) I won't go back there.
Wow! High prices!7/5/08 was 1/2 Price Day. The shop was packed w/ happy shoppers. On too many items, even 1/2 price was too high. They overcharged a CASH customer, would not give her cash back. Insisted on giving a coupon. Is that even legal?
Ever since they've enlarged the store, prices have gone up to retail prices, staff has been unfriendly and unhelpful and the selection isn't great. It's just too bad that high prices and rude staff will prevent me from contributing to the Humane Society. I can find nicer and cheaper places.
I love the holiday shop inside the store. Great Lenox pieces. Wow and now they sell American Express gift cards that were donated, perfect for my Christmas shopping needs. Friendly service too.
I used to *LOVE* this shop, before something happened and all the prices were hiked out of sight. I do still shop here, because I support the worthy cause, and there are still some bargains, but I'm careful about the prices.
