Prices here are much too high for Goodwill. Used shoes were more expensive than sale at local shoe store!Same for blouses! Huge stock that would sell if not priced so high! Low income people need to shop here! Also Color racks too inconvenient - Do by size like many other Goodwill stores I donate to and shop in - In Florida.
Haven't been here in a while but stopped by yesterday to drop off several boxes of things for donation. Prices have gone up a lot. A half burned 6" mushroom shaped candle was $2.99. Shot glasses were $2.99 each. Chipped plates were $2.99. $2.99 seemed to be the common price in the houseware dept. Hopefully next time the prices and selection will be better. Employees were friendly and there was a fairly good selection of merchandise.
Pricing is perfectly reasonable. Large selection, high quality. I've never had a problem with buying items with no tags. In fact, most of the clothes don't have tags and are sold at a price posted on a hanging sign in the store. If an item doesn't have a price tag, a cashier will make up a price if it's not on a hanging sign.
I always find pleasant folks working here. The register lines can be long (they only have two). The selection reflects a market where Pyrex is king. Good luck finding any desirable vintage items. Online sellers are always circling like raptors here.
As with the other Goodwills in northern NJ, this one too is disorganized and insanely expensive! This "thrift" organization has gotten to the point where they are preying on the low-income people who come here believing they're getting bargains.
would someone please tell goodwill they need to organize their clothing by size NOT by color. you can spend two hours plowing through clothing looking for your size. staff is not the friendliest and the prices are high for a thrift store. however you can pick up some bargains if you find something that is the sale color of the day. but again it takes forever to find anything due to their color scheme organization.
Employees and cashiers are beyond rude. Ask a question once. You wont ask anything again, and I make a point of being polite! Used scuffed shoes start 14.95-USED! Blankets and curtains 49.95! Used! Used curling sets, 9.95 USED! Its all good. I can wait for garage sales. Shame they are shooting themselves in the foot asking those prices. Better to sell a lot of stuff a little cheaper than hardly anything at high prices. Someone should tell the cashiers the customers pay for their salary.
Very nice shopping until...you want something that doesn't have a price tag! Is there no way to ask? I understand with bulk of items that are in the store...a few things do not get priced. Sincerely, A Goodwill Donator and Frequent Goodwill Shopper
They must've changed mgmt again. I hesitated going here because of the negative reviews. I stopped in as it was on my way and so glad I did. Great store. Reasonable prices. Got a barely used pott. barn duvet & shams in cotton velvet f/q for $15!!
Its clean and has a god selction BUT eversince it changed managment a few months back the prices are way too HIGH! seriously its a charitable orginization selling second hand goods, $15 for a no name dress without tags, I can buy that new on sale at macys thank you. half sale clothing but i have seen them pull the half price colored clothing on the day that color was on sale!
I cant believe they charge the prices they do DVDs are cheaper in the store new. I sont understand how they can charge double of the other goodwills. The employees there treat customers terrible.
