This , like all San Diego area Salvation Army stores is nothing but a waste of your time. The reason being is this: ALL donations are taken to the downtown site where the best items (or anything else worth buying) are sorted out and put up on E-Bay. Don't waste your time with this one unless you like shabby, worn-out furniture, torn & stained overpriced clothing, sorting through piles of junk that should have been thrown away to begin with. Nothing "thrifty" about these stores.

Lots of great stuff. I keep finding cute little blouses and jewelry for dirt cheap. Also, great selection of shoes!

I agree with the comments from the previous poster. I also saw those high priced lucky jeans. Prices are high but there are half off days. Monday was half off everything after 3pm. Greedy shoppers were there prior to that time and already had one or two shopping carts loaded! You really really have to spend time picking through things (clothing) in order to find something that is not falling apart or doesn't have stains( I encountered the URINE stained pants here). I've been to this thrift several times and have never come across a clean stain free designer quality garment. The boutique section is a joke! If the clothing or shoes aren't stained, stinky, or falling apart they're usually in the boutique. Since when is Walmart brand pants of boutique quality. I truely suspect some kind of corruption within the SD area Sal Army's... I have never EVER seen a high end designer brand in these thrifts. I found more designer labeled clothing in small midwestern towns. Something is not right with these thrifts that are receiving free donations. I suspect someone at the distribution center where they price all the stuff is taking the clean good quality items.

Lately every Wednesday is hald off clothing. Which really helps since button down shirts ar priced at 6.99, Jeans at 7.99. I'll only buy on the half off days! Last Monday they had half off everything! Clothes are organized by gender and style...jeans in one place, black pants in another...The knick knacks are of junk quality. Quite a few pyrex bowls had chipped areas. But the BOUTIQUE! What a joke! Prices are close to sky high in their "boutique". It seems that when they receive a DONATED item that is not torn, worn, or in desperate need of cleaning, it goes to the boutique. Wow! A used fraying pair of Lucky Brand jeans for $38.00 is ridiculous
