They store is relatively clean but it always "smells" awful (and this is not a "mill" smell - it's because the clothes aren't washed before they're put out...pretty gross). There are 1 or 2 nice people there but there is no "customer service" to speak of. Additionally, I can usually buy NEW for less than than their prices and most of the 'good stuff' is either being bought by the employees or being sent somewhere else (mayeb to their online store?). Overall, they sell overpriced junk there.
I generally like Goodwill's they are usually organized, clean and with people willing to help. This store does not get much product turnover because they are priced too high for a thrift store, particleboard broken desks were 39.99 things that normally go to the garbage bin at many other branches make it into this store. I would say, that donations may very easily be scarce at this store, people might not donate as much as they buy, and therefore might be causing much of their own price problems. I think that perhaps the locals need to donate more to this branch, I have seen first hand that if donations are overwhelming, the price drop like a rock. Great selection of womens clothes, ok but way less for guys, not sure about kids section. Books way overpriced (4-5-8$ books) more like a library, furniture shoddy, lamps broken (beware of the small bulb ones that you cannot test in store because you cannot just grab a bulb from another lamp), small kitchenwares selection, lots of "chotchkeys" 2-3 isles worth at least (small dust collector junk)1 full isle of home improvement, with most of the tools being stolen out of their cases. >; Not my fav store
