The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center

the customer service and kindness of the manager and certain clerks has gone done significantly in the last year. there have been 3 times in the last year when trying to buy and item that was clearly marked that the clerk has called the manager, who immediately remarked items to higher prices while at the register. i tend to buy vintage items, and each time these were vintage items, once was stained, one was broken, but it was cheap so i was going to buy it anyway...then they doubled the prices right in front of me and i said "nevermind". something weird is going on with them about vintage items. I've heard them complain about people buying htings to resell and it seems like that are super paranoid about this now. we went there to find button front shirts this week and found shirts that were normally marked 6.99 and under to be marked at 12.99. we used to love going to this store. the manager used to be really nice. The clerk used to be really nice. now the energy is different. and the store itself has gone down...it used to be very nice and clean...now it is looking dirty and run down...kinda sad...

Prices are sooo high. Must think only wealthy residents of Plano shop there.

The selection was okay. It felt picked over. My issue was that they staple the tags to the clothes. Like two heavy duty staples on each item on the right shoulder. 4 out of 5 of the shirts I picked up ended up with holes in them. Thai was before I starrted trying to get the staples off. Because if thiamin won't be back. Too bad.

I love coming to this store. It's always very clean. They have more clothes than anything but they usually have a very nice assortment of furniture, jewelry, and bric a brac. Everything is well organized though and I don't feel like I have to dig through piles of items to see what is available.

Go on Wednesdays all clothing is half off! They run great deals on their furniture too. Staff is very helpful.

The Manager atn that store is awesome. She keeps the store looking nice.
