Shidler-Wheeler Community Thrift Store

New location is on South Agnew near the Stockyards. Great little store, the people who merchandise it do a fantastic job, they make it look more like a boutique than a thrift. Low prices, nice staff, good variety, including groceries.

Looks more inviting than a dept store and smells better too. The ladies really take care to stage everything so well and the teens that staff it are so polite and helpful. Always a pleasure to shop here!

I have been thrifting for a while now and this is hands down the cleanest and best merchandised thrift store I have been in. They also have one of the cleanest and moat accessible guest restrooms around, and everything is handicap accessible as well. Whoever does their merchandising really enjoys putting displays together. It had the feel of a little boutique with better than garage sale prices!! I found quite a few unique collectables and scored a vintage iron twin bed with the headboard, footboatd and rails for only $25. Bonus....they took it apart and loaded it in my car for me. I wasn't looking for a bes, but that was quite a steal, and I am sure I will find some use for this wonderful find in my shabby chic home. :D oh...a truck took out their road sign a while back...so just keep a look out for a sign that says thrift store You will NOT be disappointed. They have excellent prices on clothes, shoes and Housewares too.
