Market Street Mission Thrift

As a handicapped person I was dismayed to find their Vintage Items Department was located on a second-floor level. There was no way I'd be able to make it up 14 steps and back down again without being crippled for the day. Otherwise, a good place to check out every once in a while. You just may find something you really like!

Very few times have I visited this store and not found some fabulous deals and brands. I try to go at least once a month. They run various sales sometimes too and those are the best.

The store is large and relatively well organized, but it feels dank and dirty and so much of the merchandise looks and feels dirty or damaged or like it's been sitting on the shelves for years.

Helpful staff. Willing to give me a bargain. Lots of furniture especially couches, in good condition. Bri Bracs are fun,

Lots of furniture and bric a brac, prices a bit high, pretty clean overall.

In the last 2 months the prices are crazy high and the new retail director need to learn how to deal with customers or will lost alot of long time customers.

Large store packed with clothing, housewares, electronics. Prices are low, but they reflect the quality and condition of the goods.

Great for funiture, bedding and kitchen items

I thought this place was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful and I got a very clean sofa for &70. I was surprised at the bad reviews. Although, the lighting is too low.

Store got alot better since new Sale Director took over as of 11/01/08

Dirty and low light. But otherwise is good, lot of retro furniture.

have always had good experience w/staff. helpful and pleasant. don't over look potential in clothing. cashmere shows up sometimes!

Clothes are priced too high. The staff is rude + takes the best stuff for themselves.

A little ware-housey but I've gotten a few choice housewares here. I don't bother with the clothing -- but sometimes some decent retro furniture and china can be had.
