Wanted to review this Goodwill based on something I saw there the other day. I have gone to all of the Goodwills for years, before they were the cleaner, brighter "Supercenters" that they are today. Was at this Goodwill the other day and they had 3 giant yellow carted bins of books - books on the shelves were falling off the shelves they had so many books. One of the workers there I noticed was going through some (not all) of the cookbooks in the bins and writing prices in them - in the crappy Goodwill permanant marker of course! No problem, I thought, they tend to mark cookbooks up (I don't know why because most of the time the cookbooks are penny books on Amazon). What bothered me was this: there was an elderly man and his wife there, they had to have been between 75-85 years old. He had one book in his hands, a cookbook. The worker that was marking up the books came up to him and asked him if she could see the book (remember, he had the book in his hands already) and she wrote a big permanent "3" price in the book and then handed it back to the elderly man. I can understand if they are going to mark up books if they want - but the man had this book in his possession already and should have been able to purchase it for $1.50. It was horrible customer service and just plain rude for the woman working there to do what she did. Lately a lot of things I've seen at the Goodwills have been so disappointing.
