Overall, they have great pricing, but once in a while you'll find the item that seems to be priced too high. They have a decent selection of furniture too. This is always a must stop location when I'm visiting the area.
I have been going to this thrift shop for five years now. It is absolutely the cheapest shop in the area. Still find things for fifty cents. As to the dirtiness, let me explain. All of the people who work here are disadvantaged in some way. There are never enough people there at one time to keep things organized as well as they should be, but sometimes, when staffing is adequate, things look spiffy. Emile, a mentally challenged boy there sweeps and mops everyday with spic and span. Hattie, a mentally challenged woman does her level best to dust, remove things from shelves and reorganize at least once a week. The pay for the staff is very minimal, and in most cases the women who work there are single moms. All in all, this place is amazing. The staff like working here, and they work hard. If thrift shopping is about "thrift" this place has all others beat.
The prices are great! At times the store is a little messy...but I guess it is a Thrift Store anyway. Usually have a good selection of clothes.(They are sorted by color) At times they have a good selection of furniture. Is a not-for-profit store that employes disadvantaged and disabled people from the area.
Really dirty. The clothing section was well-lit and organized by color. They had many shoes, but most were gross. The furniture section was crammed and dimly lit. Overall, the place was grimy.
Handsdown the cheapest thrift store in Northern Virginia! Almost no women's clothing, usually a good t-shirt or two. Sometimes interesting records, books, dishes, and furniture. Almost no toys at all.
