SOCH Old and New Shop

The new manager, Ilene, has completely revamped the store! She has incorporated all types of fun sales and the appearance of the store has improved dramatically! I love browsing and interacting with the volunteers! Pricing is great and atmosphere is wonderful. Treat yourself and drop in!

Irene i think is the managers name. She needs to learn to speak to people with a better attitude. Place is good for clothes that's it. The rest is over priced for free donation items. Please stop putting ebay listings on items your comparing a new item on ebay to your used dirty item.Again over priced.Thanks

Wow the place has had a whole new make over. Great sales. On day the whole store was 50% off. Always great sales everyday. The volunteers are courteous and helpful. Best thrift store in ocean county.

This is a great thrift store in the area. There's a variety of clothes,appliances,videos,greeting cards,and the list goes on and on. I'll be back.

Good selection of things. Adult, Children and infant clothing; toys & games; household items: lamps, dishes, lots of glassware, some electrical items; tapes, vinyl record albums, videos; some greeting cards, photo albums, good choice of books (a few vintage); limited furniture (small items mostly). If you love the hunt, this is the place to go and enjoy! Helpful volunteers support Southern Ocean Medical Center.

Found some really great puzzles and toys (clean, all pieces & fully functional) for super cheap. Store is a hit or miss, but great for kids toys and books. Also they have tons of bric a brac.

Nicely organized. The clothes selection is weak. Handbags that were marked and scratched were overpriced as were other items - seems like they're pricing half of their items at thrift rates and the other half at consignment rates. ?

You are more likely to find good housewears than clothes- the clothing and shoe selection is terrible; old, ugly, and overpriced. The store is well organized but I find shopping there is usually a waste of time.

they are starting to look prices of items up on ebay and labeling them 'vintage', while jacking up the prices. I saw a set of plates in there for $79!!! Unfortunately they are losing sight of the fact that they are a thrift store, not an antique store.

I was sorely disappointed. It smelled, had dirty items for sale and the quality of the items and selection were poor.

This store isn't bad, but these ratings are too much. The selection is only okay. It however is well organized and priced well.

Eveyone who works here is helpful and pleasant. They have a great deal of things for sale and they are very reasonably priced. They raise money for the hospital which is a big help.

Love stopping into this store. Many volunteers for questions and keeping everything in order. Very good values to be found. Good cause and way to stay green by buying here.

Merchandise is always sized. They have a chalk board as you go in with the days sales. Pricing is on the wall for all merchandise easy to understand. Would highly recommend. Enjoy!!!!
