American Veteran's Thrift Store

This store has a lot to offer most of the times,sometimes it is junk.The only good sales clothing.The people that work in the furniture building are very nice helpful,but inside other building the older white haired lady always seems so grumpy and negative. For the most part,it is an ok place to shop.There are some things that are way to pricey.I would give a 6 out of a 10 rating.some better ones in the area

I'm surprised previous reviews complain about the price. Not only are the prices very good, they were having a Bogo sale during my visit.

This is not the best thrift shop in town and of course you are going to take up for your manager....I work there too and she is not being honest...she is rude to customers and and I have had many complaints on her. the store is a good place, but there is dishonesty going on

I work at this store the person who wrote in about the manager is lieing she is a wonderful person and does not lie and the money does go to help the veterans please shop at our store and don,t belive what you read there are very sick people out thire and I pray for thire recovery to lie and hurt someone is nasty please please everyone shop till you drop at American veterans thrift store we love you.

This store is the best in Lewes. All the staff is friendly.

This is by far the best Thrift store in Sussex county. The store is always tidy and organized with a great selection. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I love stopping there on my way down to the beach. I never leave empty handed!

The manager is a very inhumane person and is being dishonest about what she is giving to the veterans.....anyone know how to report her? She is paying herself an unbelievable salary, I know, I volunteer there. About to leave as she is a dishonest person

The truth be told, they are NOT supplying the veterans with all the money they say they are. The manager who by the way is nasty, pays herself a huge salary and changes her story about what she gives like a mother changing a baby's diaper. She is not telling the truth.

there are some nasty people that work there..not worth the aggravation

Sales are a little confusing; just what is "glassware" perhaps a brief explanation would help frustrated customers when they arrive to check out and are told "this is not considered glassware." The manager does make a good effort to move things that have been sitting awhile to make room for new. Veteran staff is overall good; a grump or two in the mix but that is always the way. Enjoy looking around there. More reasonably priced than most shops in the area.
