NCJW Thrift Shop

Just went there this past weekend and it was great. The selection was good brands and the clearance section was $2 per item and I got a silk suit for $4 and 2 jackets for $2 each. Even if If I wear them once it was worth it.

Newly redecorated and arranged. Something for everyone, including many beaautiful home furnishing and bric a brac.

With the complete redecoration the shop is easy to browse and to find just what you might be looking for.The managers and volunteers are helpful if you have a specific item in mind. Good shoppers can find great bargains!

They take all the fun out of thrift shopping, consider yourself warned.

The selection is average, and so is the organization. The staff puts a high price on very marginal stuff here. There's a few quality items in the showcase, but mostly meh. I have often found the staff to be abrasive and never really liked this place.

3/29/12: Overall, this is a great Thrift store. I would say the best way to get the most for your money is to take advantage to the Twice Yearly sale advertised and get on their mailing list. You can get high end designer items during that time for $2.00.

Absolutely one of the most versatile local thrift shops I've seen around. I have been coming to the shop for a couple months now and each and every time, I am treated well and the managers and workers even know me. I just bought an array of new/lightly used stuff including 7 Jeans for 5$ each, and tons of vintage designer bags. I got an old camera that I refurbished and now use, and a lava lamp for my apartment. They have some great finds, you just have to look.

I recently revisited the NCJW Thrift Shop after not having been there for quite some time. What an AMAZING difference! The store was organized and clothes were even color coordinated. There were many designer goods to be found and the prices compared to the other thrift shops I frequent were very reasonable. The new management could not have been friendlier and more helpful in retrieving specific items that I was searching for and actually enjoyed putting together outfits for their customers. I purchased a beautiful pocketbook which matched a scarf and BCBG suit that I found there. They recommended that I should come back often because the new motto at the shop is that the stock changes daily and they guarantee that I will see something different on every visit.

Everytime I go there, those ladies behind the counter are yelling at someone. They are horrible.

I recently visited this store in the last two months and I was very very pleased with the selection. They have ladies up-to-date suits @20.00/each as well as pants suits. Overall, I was extrememly satisfied. I also purchased a DKNY 3/4 length leather coat for $25.00. Will definitely go back for more shopping. Also, their shoes are $5.00 for designer names.
