Prevention of Blindness Antique Shop

This is a great charity shop -what a shame the last reviewer had a bad experience with a bug! Most likely a stink bug as I shop there once a week and notice that they are outside on the trees and bushes that surround the shop. Why not inform the volunteers about it? Again this is a charity shop with volunteers and many customers do not realize this so they like to inform them. I did notice that the last reviewer rated customer service as average even though they were not greeted to her liking. The prices are great and they have half off on books, silverware, artwork and other items this month. I ask the last reviewer to give them another chance hopefully they will leave with a smile this time.

Decent selection. Some good deals on items that I would not have an interest in (clear glassware) and some decent deals on select furniture items that could use some TLC. Books are overpriced. Grumpy customer service-- a woman attending to the store was RIGHT at the door and did not grant me a friendly greeting without solicitation. I was abhorred when I went to the back to check out the clothing section, pulled out a dress, and discovered that it had a LIVE BUG ON IT. I did not look at it long enough to discern whether it was a stink bug or a roach. I love thrift shopping, but in ALL of my thrifting days, I have NEVER EVER pulled out a piece of clothing and found a bug on it! This is a sign of definite uncleanliness! I will NOT be returning to this store.

great selection of collectables, small but full of great finds. Their new clothing room has great bargins. Volunteers are helpful great furniture too

Completely random pricing! However, if you like to really get down and dirty and search for a deal, it's a great lil shop!
