The oldest and the best prices on HHI, wish they would consider longer hours for working people who want to be regular shoppers (closes at 4 pm week days when open and 12:15 on Sat.). Volunteers want to go home when its time to close and it shows but the cashiers are much friendlier than they have been in the past. People who volunteer there should want to be in service to others because attitude counts. Prices are very fair and they have resisted to do what other thrifts on the Island have done and raise prices to "boutique" or consignment levels-if this is what people wanted they would be shopping at these places instead-stay true to your original vision-please.

The sales ladies are never friendly except for the lady at the very front cash register. They act annoyed when you ask questions and stare at you as if you are getting ready to steal the dollar items as soon as they turn their heads. Lots of children's clothes though if that's what you're looking for. Not much more.

great bargains but most of the staff is very unfriendly and quite unwelcoming..however there were two that were very helpful and friendly...why do they volunteer to work around the public if they don't seem to enjoy it...but a good selection of items and very fairly priced.

Very popular thrift shop with pretty nice selection. If you arrive at opening time, be prepared for a line. Not the nicest volunteers...

cleanliness depends on how many people have come thru.

I know this is the store everyone talks about, however, I think they are a little over priced and need to clean their items.

best bargains and LOW prices anywhere. Top brand names like Talbots for $1 to $2.
