Prices were horrible. I can't speak for much else because I turned around and left as soon as I saw how over-priced everything is. And I understand it's for the "mission" but most thrift stores support some mission and still offer reasonable prices.
lot of the items are overpriced - yes it is for a cause and all that but if you want to shop there look for % off sale days or use the Senior discount day if you can. And YES some of the clerks are very rude and lazy. One gentleman tried to ignore me at the check out - like he did not see me and then he would not even wrap or bag my items and I had several. Really?? Just because you are a volunteer?
Prior comments must not be shopping the same store I was. Prices are fair, and they have sales on something all the time. When I questioned a price. I was quickly told sales supported Habitat's mission. Polite and to the point. Good job!
The store is now at its new location. Things haven't changed from earlier comments regarding pricing and selection. I've found something with a retail store tag on it but the Habitat price was higher. Very pricey items, small selection of housewares, large selection of high end furniture with prices to match.
Items are way over priced!! During construction at my home I donated our old door & exterior light fixtures...saw them in the store and they had priced them higher than the new ones we had purchased...ridiculous!!!
Designer furniture donations, a few antique pces, not much else. Prices on labels/signs were good, but clerk charged more on everything. Very well organized. Heard clerk mention they are moving soon.
Focus is on furniture-Some new from overruns of local furniture mills and warehouses. No clothes, lots of home improvement items in bulk (door knobs, shutters, doors, plumbing), toys, some large appliances. It's hit or miss as they have little room to store things and they put them out as items sell. July seems to be the best month for furniture.
