What's with the management there! Very rude and unchristian like. Talks ugly to customers. I stopped by here to see if anything has changed as far as the merchandise and management. I here often on my way from Jackson to New Orleans and I can tell you this place has really gone down ever since the other managers left. I really didn't care for the dark curly haired manager, but I really liked the heavyset long haired manager who wore glasses. She was a very Christian lady and was always smiling and helpful when she greeted you. I don't know what happened but all I can say is that store had never been the same and I don't spend my obey in there like I use to. I guess I go there in hopes it would be like it used to be. Even the volunteers are gone, not the same.ADVICE TO UPPER MANAGEMENT...a Christian attitude goes a long way and so does a kind word. And word on the street is st Vincent's thrift store is only worried about making money. There is nothing Christian in their actions anymore. News flash... Get different management.
Appears that the manager keeps all the vintage/antique items for himself. Displays the items in store and then rudely tells the customers that the items are not for sale. I am ashamed to say this store is a Christian run store. I would never go back
these people need to be reported ! whoever prices their donations is ridiculous...needless to say...very rude and unchristian people working this store. I will never go back and will be reporting them to the Archdiocese along with several other of REAL CHRISTIAN friends.
Manager reminds me of a hoarder. Employees are not friendly at all, even though I go in there every week. They should know me by now enough to say hello. Prices are really good but everything is all in disarray. Unorganized and dirty. Yet I find myself in there often.
I live down the street from this shop and I never will go there again. I used to check it out every week. The store is filthy! I get all itchy just browsing through there. The prices are okay for the average stuff. But if something looks just a little bit new, they mark it way up. Very greedy. Plus, there is so much stuff piling up and it is unorganized, messy, and very hard to walk around the store Instead of hoarding stuff, they should lower prices and try to get rid some of that old stuff that has been sitting in there for months.
I shop here all the time! The bldg. is old and in need of repairs. I am told that the owner is not forthcoming in making timely repairs. As for the staff, they are GREAT!If I need something I shop here first, then I go elsewhere if I can't find it.
