If you are lucky, you may find a reasonably priced deal. However, in general, way over priced. There is NO talking them down. The lady at the checkout is very kind and helpful. The guys working in the back, etc, are also very nice and helpful. The manager guy is arrogant and thinks he is always right--not the customer. The young girls are exactly like the manager--arrogant and unpleasant.

Don't waste your time shopping here. All they want is your money. Manager was arrogant and rude when my husband inquired about a hardware item. We found the same item at Home Depot for the same price and it was new.

I had the misfortune to visit Greenville, N.C. Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store, 05-20-2016. I accompanied a young man that was looking for a sofa. He purchased a 55 year old sofa for $85.00 plus tax (and I say 55 years based on what the clerk told him, that it was from the 60's). Before the young unexperienced man purchased the sofa, I personally asked to speak with a manager and I was told that the manager was in a meeting and she said she felt confident that they would not take any less for the sofa. Upon careful examining the sofa, a sizable hole was found under the cushion, which exposed cotton stuffings. There was a tear on one of the pillows that looked as if something had gnawed it and several other stains were noticeable under the cushion and on the back of the sofa. It is shameful how that store is managed. With all it current security equipment, you would think that it would have merchandise worth buying. What I saw was unsatisfactory, (serving the only purpose is to rip off people that are desperate, uninformed and in need of furnishing right away). Now I understand why people are much more hesitant to give their no longer used things to that thrift store ... they get it for nothing and sale if for outrageous prices. Shame on them.

They specialize in items for home improvement, including building materials and furniture. It's clean & organized. Selection is hit or miss. Used to have great toys but they stopped carrying them.

Not much here. I was totally flabbergasted when they wanted $10 for a Queen record -- it wouldn't be worth that at a record store!
