This is a great thrift store with good prices. I love the book section. It is really amazing and has a large section of religious books as well. Huge area of shoes. I haven't done well here on clothing though. Not the best although there is a section of higher-priced boutique clothing. Don't miss the room of household goods. Some interesting things to see there if you take the time to browse. My only complaint is I wish they were open more days but since they are staffed by volunteers, it's understandable.
I love this store. It is well organized and I always find great items at good prices. I went yesterday and all clothes and shoes were 50% off. I bought 2 pairs of boots ($2 ea) and a long, 100% wool coat ($2.50), two men's dress shirts ($1.50 ea), toddler sleepers (.50 ea), toddler Sketchers shoes (.75), 11 VHS movies (.10 ea ) 40 plastic hangers (.25 per bundle of 10) and several pieces of fabric (less than $1 per yard) and 3 children's book ($4) I got 10% senior discount (over 55) on the items that weren't 50% off. I left a happy shopper. I just wish they were open more than 3 days a week.
Everything is extremely overpriced! It's more consignment/antique mall prices. It's really sad when 90%of the clothing on the racks have holes in them and/have stains on them and they still want almost $5 on a pair of paints. Not to mention the "boutique". I don't know where the money that is supposed to be going back to the community is going. I overheard volunteers bragging about them making over $68,000 so far this year. Yes they may have helped some people. However the few people who I know who have called them for help have been turned away. So I have only been shopping there if I am looking for something specific. Till now. The straw that broke me was a few days ago, I was shopping in their furniture department and could not get over the prices. I opened a drawer to a dresser that was out in the main selling floor.... There were cockroaches everywhere in it. I told a volunteer and they acted like it was no big deal. Faith hope and charity has lost my business and most of my family. Not trying to be a keyboard warrior, just sharing the facts with the public.
Huge store with a huge selection of items. Avoid the electronics, though, as a recent new manager upped the costs and reduced the cleaning of them. Literally, 1 inch of dust on a VHS player that they're selling for $25. lol
Completely run by volunteers & they process an amazing amt of donations w/ ltd help. Prices are great. All proceeds given back to county & they do not yell at Hispanics nor their children. Customers are lucky they have bathrooms as other thrift stores do not.
One of my favorite thrifts in the area! I go quite often, yes there is one cashier who is usually not friendly, but overall mostly the volunteers here are super nice. Great selection & prices, organized & clean store.
