The Salvation Army Thrift Store

This place used to be horrible!Dirty, nasty employees, just junk. All changed. Employees are pleasant and kind. You can find some great stuff, great prices. Time to go back to SA. I am a real customer. Refused to go there for about 5 years. Went back a couple of times recently. Worth the trip.

Not only are the employees rude especially when asked a question the store is very unappealing to go into. Very dirty. All I wanted to do was donate a couch and the 2 employees acted as if it was the end of the world. Because if them my donations will be going elsewhere

Won't let you buy window display merchandise. They want the holiday display to bring ppl into the store, but you can't buy anything in it, until after the holiday. They'll argue that it makes sense to do this!

Store redone nicely. New and old staff are polite and helpful.Now SA needs to make a strict rule employees cannot buy newly arrived merchandise. Overheard on at least three occasions that they spend a lot of their pay on merchandise. Makes sense because there is nothing on the floor but dirty broken junk. Been going their for years, no more. Waste of time and gas if nothing to buy. SA should tell staff this is not their toy box and restrict what they take home. Many friends have also said they don't bother going any more because while it is now pleasant, no stock to buy.

it smelled like someone had used a bathroom and not flushed...for days. everything was hideous, it was freezing in there, and it was overpriced considering i've been to much better thrift shops for MUCH cheaper. never going back.

Went there on 08/13/2011. Manager is rude either to the customers or the staffs, price is way to high...ridiculous!!

THE PRICING IS WAY OUT OF LINE. THEY ARE ASKING $9.99 FOR JEANS (STARTING) I CAN GO TO WALMART AND BUY A PAIR ON SALE FOR LESS THAN THAT! EVERYTHING IS DONATED TO THEM!

worth the time to pick through clothes and handbags. have found some great stuff. clean/wash everything as soon as you get it home.

Sure, this is not a clean store and the fixtures are very old. But if you go through the racks with patience, there are hidden gems. I found a NEW fashionable $200 designer blouse for $2.00! You just never know what you will find! If you want a clean and perfect store, shop at Bloomies!
