My girlfriend and I got racially profiled here for attempting to purchase a Tommy Hilfiger jacket for 3.00 (Which is a total steal) and they refused to sell it to us because they assumed we changed the tag. We offered more money and they still wouldn't sell it. I don't recommend going here because they are money hungry.
Tons and tons of clothes and shoes but nothing organized as to size. So full you really can't look good. Racks of shoes cover a lot of the shoes on a shelf under them. Not much other than clothes. I felt the prices were high. $12.50 for a top. $7 for another. Books were cheap at 90 cents for hardcover. I didn't end up buying as I don't have time to sift through racks and racks to find my size.
This used to be an organized thrift store that was easy to shop in. The clothing and kids section still is, but the rest of the store is just thrown together. I do not go there much anymore.
The store offers average goods at average prices. Nothing special. However, the main reason I hate shopping here is the poor attitude and service from the employees. I have never been treated so rudely and not just on one occasion. Deciding I'd had enough on my last visit, I asked to speak with a manager. I had complaints about one employee in particular. Turned out...she WAS the manager. Too many great thrift stores in the area to put up with that!
I've bought a lot of Express, Limited, Old Navy, and Gap clothes here over the years! Monday is 50 cent day, and you can get high priced items for only 50 cents! It's great! I live in NY now and still make the trip to Dayton to shop!
