Miles in Motion Thrift Shop and Boutique

We called it the "Not so Thrift" Store for the remainder of our stay. Pretty run of the mill "junk", anything remotely interesting was at or above eBay prices. Meh.

This shop is quick to give a low price on low end clothing. Otherwise, way overpriced. They check every item on ebay so you will pay top dollar. No bargains here! They cater to friends and squeeze every penny from others. They keep the best items for themselves and make money on the side. They gossip while customers are in the store. They say mean things about handicapped people that come in from the program downstairs. You may find something you want at a price you are willing to pay. You just don't feel good knowing what really happens here. That being said, some of the volunteers work there out of pure goodness and expect nothing in return.

Terrific store, displays are beautiful. Three floors of merchandise. Fabulous!!

Never got to the basement

This is a wonderful store! Each day a different color gives you 50% off that color. If the color of the day is Blue and you come to the register with a Green striped shirt with a blue strip in it too, you get the shirt for 50% off! GREAT!

Lots of good name brands. Not as "cheap" as some thrift stores but has a bargain basement. I always stop on my round of errands on a Saturday- worth checking out. Things are very nicely displayed- one of the volunteers must have been in marketing.

Prices too high!

Beautiful, artistic displays, lovely selection of fine, vintage and modern china and linens, good quality clothing, great books, jewelry, basement is full of bargains. And they have great sales as well. A top notch thrift shop.

Fabulous shop, Up to date and interesting displays. Definately a place to go to shop!

A wonderful store, with very nice items, and a bargain basement.

Check out the new and much bigger store on Church Street. Outstanding quality at reasonable prices upstairs and the rummage sale downstairs!

Far too expensive. they need to revamp their prices.

Name brands- clean and in good condition. Trust me, they don't sell this kind of quality at Wal-Mart.

VERY expensive - moreso than Wal-Mart in some cases. BUT - the money goes to nonprofit instead of EVILmart!

Prices are astrinomical - almost everything is cheaper at Walmart!
