The few times I wanted to buy something the clerk couldn't be found. They have a corner for kid's toys and games, a single book shelf, some trinkets. Most of the floorspace is for clothes. At least the place is clean.
Too bad the people that work there sell stuff on eBay. Overheard the dark haired loud woman who works upstairs talking to the eBay girl she sells her stuff to. I mean seriously bad form. I want to find bargains, not leftovers.
Please ignore the crappy comments prior that people posted. I have been here several time at different times and never have I left this store empty handed. I drive a good half hour to get tto this place and do serious shopping. Their prices are very cheap and the quality and name brands are fantastic. Some people are never happy so please don't let that stop you from coming. I really do love this store and I wish I lived closer by because I would go more often!!
Store has been remodeled...I feel like I'm shopping in a department store. Very good selection, especially childrens clothes. Money spent here goes back into the Union County community since the local Junior League operates the store.
I always find a good deal at The Jumble Store - even when I am not looking. The children's selection is extensive and the prices are extremely reasonable and many items still have tags. Definitely worth stopping by!
From clothing, accessories and houswares for all seasons to toys and baby items this store is packed with fabulous finds. I especially love the upscale collectables and designer clothes. Always worth the trip!!
The Jumble Store is a non-profit thrift and consignment store owned and operated by the Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield since 1933. True to its roots in charity, the store continues to serve the public today. Shoppers have the opportunity to purchase new and gently used seasonal clothing as well as luxury and household items, jewelry, and toys at affordable prices. Proceeds from the store are used to fund Junior League community service projects and programs. The focus of the Junior League?s volunteer efforts is on helping families in crisis in Union County.
