Habitat for Humanity MidOhio ReStore

I've shopped here and older locations for many years. Over the past two years prices have soared upward for the old, used,broken materials without warranties. Good for parts and pieces but not whole products that are new and cheaper at big box stores with warranties.

Very expensive! Stuff that you would get for $5-10 at most thrift stores was $30-50 here. Mostly items for remodeling but the prices were ridiculous. You could get new at IKEA for less. Lots of items but just way overpriced.

This used to be a great place to find vintage and newer items for the house now its all insanely over priced and really not worth the trip.

I love the hunt at ReStore. I have found many deals in the past, but recently have been disgusted by the new manager and his pricing strategy - anything that looks "old or vintage" is automatically overpriced and new old stock or donated retail clearance items priced at normal retail or higher. Still, it is worth a visit if you are a picker. Expect a crowded mess with little to no customer service, questionable business ethics, and staff void of personality.

If you haven't shopped here for awhile, give it another chance. The store is much more organized and seems to be getting a wider range of items. You might find pots of (real) flowers, new hardware, carpeting, tile and more.

You never know what you will find here, but you can save a lot of money on doors, paint, lighting fixtures and the always changing inventory, Shop here before you do any house projects!
