Goodwill Industries Thrift Store

Store well picked over. Half price items not marked very clearly and I had to tell the clerk I got them from the discount rack. Very friendly staff but store needs to be cleaned. I got stung on the foot by a fire ant just walking by the shoes. Housewares were dirty and not organized.

The most run-down looking Goodwill in the Columbia area. If you can't get to the store until after 5 pm, the pickers and re-sellers will have gotten to all the new things that were put out. I've been in there sometimes and have seen the inventory look identical for more than a week... slow merchandise turnover here (but new arrivals are cherry-picked out early in the day). Toy selection is anemic. A little too heavy on kitchen wares and Christmas decorations. House ware shelves normally very cluttered. They really need to change things up in there.

It could be cleaner. The clothes seem less clean and more damaged here than the better Goodwills in the area. But it also always smells bad, stuffy, overly warm inside. Staff are mostly friendly.

Usually I find nice stuff every time I go. The staff is really friendly too.

Good quality finds, name brand clothing in good shape. Good for clothes, not so good for housewares
