Sad! So very Sad! We brought a box of items to donate, some nice things, as we have just moved into an apartment from our house, and decided to look around inside. We were shocked at their prices! Things are being donated and they are charging way above fair market value! Strolled through the facility, asked for help and was reluctantly given some. I was told that prices were based on what price Michael's Craft store charged for craft stamps. They charged like $4 to $5 for one stamp about 4x3 inches in size. Clerk said Michaels charges $20 for same stamp. How many times do they think a stamp is used, and probably it would of been re-donated to this store. No more donations to this store from us anymore. Too Greedy! Went in the back and accidently traveled into employee only area, unawares as there were no signs. An employee yelled at me, 61 year old woman, "Hey, you can't go in there!" I apologized and left of course. Very unfriendly, almost hostile employees. Left a bad taste in my mouth to make donations to anyone anymore. May as well throw the stuff away! I won't, will take my things some place else. Will not return here for sure! Oh! An Prince was on the radio singing, "I want your sex." Really?? A Christian organization? Appalling!!
Books are great when they are on sale. Housewares are ridiculously overpriced even when on sale compared to what Goodwill and other stores charge for the exact same thing. Clothing has improved. Outdoor area is great for finding treasures, and the furniture department is the largest in the area.
