I pulled up out front with a large pile of expensive dresses, suede coat and sweaters. As I started to get out of my van I looked through the front window. Or I should say I Tried. There were bags and bags of clothes and stuff piled high. This from a place that says they need clothes. I called and spoke to the clerk who told me they were staffed by volunteers and that if I didn't like it I could shop/donate elsewhere. No wonder I was the only car in the lot.
Wanted $20 for a used tower fan selling new $29. Wanted originally $300 then immediately dropped to $150 for a ripped, worn, stained throw rug I can buy for $89. When pointing this out the clerk told me I didn't have to shop there. Really? How sad... breaks me up.
Unbelievably high prices on items that are obviously dirty and in need of repair. Should you manage to find anything in the piles of junk, the staff refuses to bargain on their extravagantly high prices.
I've been in many thrift stores all over the country. I try to be very fair in my reviews. This has got to be the worst thrift store I have ever been in in my life. There is so much stuff crammed in this building you can't shop. The racks are stuffed so you can't see the clothes and there are piles of things on the floor so you can't get to things you might be interested in. Fire trap! Not to mention the smell. I can't recommend this store at all.
