Extremely overpriced and they up-price for what they see as "name brand" clothing, but it isn't even always stuff that is higher cost new. Such as a used toddler tshirt from Target priced at 4.99. I also see purses priced starting at 9.99, even ones that are very outdated or not in good condition. Bedsheets are priced between 5.99-9.99 for USED sheets, it's outrageous. Boys jeans are way too expensive - Childrens Place and Target jeans marked at 9.99 a pair USED - when you can get them for that price or lower new. I still go because I'm not always looking for specific brands, and the furniture is decently and fairly priced, but whoever is in charge of pricing clothing and home goods needs to learn about thrifting and retail prices in general because they are extremely clueless.
I'm not buying the toys, so that may be why they are so freakin' rude, and act like it is a pain in their rear to ring me up. Average Goodwill, bitter help, same old high prices, and variable selection.
This Goodwill is awesome. The employees always smile and tease me and call me the "toy lady" because I race little kids to the toy section on 50% off days! I find some awesome stuff here, sometimes brand new, still in package toys at a fraction of their original price. RICH people must donate to this store, because they have great stuff!
