Community Thrift Store

love the prices here as compared to the Community Thrift Store in Summerville

Terrible smell as others have said. Prices don't make sense. I haven't been here in a long time, as 2 people I know have gotten body-lice from this store. For SURE it was from this store. There is no way I would shop there. Dirty clothes, floors, changing rooms, etc.

My only problem is everything smells as if it's been fumigated.

Awesome selection but they are over priced on items THEY feel are valuable. they price items according to ebay but don't look to see if the item sells well which is a factor for pricing. they are in the thrift store business; not a high end vintage shop.

The prices are GREAT here and I always find a piece of glassware or framed art that catches my eye. I have found some great clothes here as well but sifting through the racks takes some time since the clothes are organized by gender, type, and size but not by color like at Goodwill. This store is definitely worth checking out if you have the time to browse.

Great prices every thing is organized

Although the smell of strong air freshener will nearly run you out, this is by far one of Charleston's best thrifts. Sat shopping is a better selection than Sunday. Just be prepared for the strong odors
