I don't know why people aren't happy with this store. If you get the right voulenteer, and they see you struggling over the price, they always have lowered it for me. The selection depends on when you go - just like any thrift store.

I've shopped at the Restore for years and have seen the prices rise. Now you can get new tiles and other items at Menard's for only a few cents more. Please consider your pricing. This should be a place where low income folks can manifest their remodeling dreams too.

Was shocked to learn they are now a retailer of NEW Special Order items ; doors windows roofing appliances flooring etc etc but do not pay property taxes that other established businesses pay due to "nonprofit" status. Sears, Best Buy, Menards, Lowes, Home Depot, many local biz pay huge taxes, employ many tax paying citizens do not cannibilize the market.

This really is the best Habitat for Humanity Restore I have ever been in. There is a lot of variety most of the time. Help is mostly volunteer so quality of help is variable. One day a sweet young man ran out to catch me as I was getting in my car to tell me that what I was looking for had just come in the donation door if I wanted to come back in and check it out! That was really cool!

This is a great place to pick up some inexpensive building materials. You really have to pick your way through a lot of junk to find what you need and there isn't really any help anywhere.
