Their new store on Broadway that they moved to is really nice. Same great employees like Charlie. We found some great items at fair prices. It's smaller, but nice, clean, and well organized.
Prices are not thrift store prices anymore. Customer service is poor. $1 for a bag items outside are not organized, or easy to look at. A cart stuffed full of Art so full that the glass breaks is not convenient. Only shop here if you want to donate to get a 25% off coupon for a special purchase, otherwise go to Goodwill or Idaho Youth Ranch.
I had to walk out of there today after hearing a tall dark haired man at the counter complaining so loud I could hear him across the store about how someone had marked a Carhart coat too low priced and he had to sell it to someone earlier that day because the price was attached. He was wearing a Santa hat, but he was not having a heart of Santa. I finally told him, when he kept going on and on and getting me upset, to have a heart, that the person who got that coat at that price probably could not have afforded the price you wanted him to pay or why would he be shopping in a second hand store for a used coat in the first place. He still kept complaining loudly so I just had to leave and said, this is why I don't shop here much any more, because you have gotten too greedy.
I love the staff at this store! very friendly! Unlike the state street store. The manager up front there is rude and unkind. its unfortunate unhappy people inflict their unhappiness on others.
prices too high. they revoked discounts for some and reduced sr and veterans discounts during a bad economy. collectibles are cheaper at the antique stores. seem full of themselves and not charitable except clerks are ok, they don't price their stuff, someone else with a swollen head does that. we started shopping elsewhere, we used to go there almost every day.
Pricing on some things is more than purchasing it new. Lots of dollar store stuff for $3 or more. Way high on collectables but reasonable on books. Not sure how they determine pricing but someone is out of touch with reality. This is a thrift store not a retail department store.
