The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center

We go there for everything. Kitchen wear, maternity clothes, dresses, kids clothes, furniture. Only down side is prices are going up recently and the lines are long.

The prices seem a bit high on some of the items, but they run lots of specials, so watch for those. This store tends to have nicer stuff than some of the other ones. We've found lots of Ann Taylor and Banana Republic stuff - my teenage daughter loves to go there.

I SO agree with the very first comment that was left on this post!!! I love the chair coervs you're planning on making! Do you know if there is a pattern for them, or do you just freehand? I have these chairs at my kitchen table (which is white with a wood top....was given to me, and I've been waiting for the weather to be warm enough to paint it all white), and I've been searching for chair cushions for the longest time. I've never seen any that I like, and I LOVE the ones you posted from the Shabby Chic line!By the way, I noticed that you and I have the same zip code! I guess we're neighbors! :-)

Overpriced!

This store is well organized. However, I don't buy anything here unless it is the 50% off tag color due to the insanely high prices.

the prices seem to very very high!!!! It seems for a few more dollars I am able to purchase thing new.
