friendly and helpful to everyone regardless of race. There was a lot of funiture that was scary dirty and way beyond its prime looks like it needed to be tossed out would have made a better impression on me if it were.
Largest thrift in the area but not very clean. Inventory turns over slowly. Should discount more heavily after a month. If you do not like a price, ask for a discount. Those complaining about the service should keep in mind that many of the staff are in drug rehab. They are still learning.
One of the 2 nicer thrift stores in the Opelika/Auburn area (the other being LifeSavers Mission Thrift). Large book section; pretty good sales (by tag color) on clothes. Benefits a local Christian ministry.
Big store, small selection. Very limited on home-dec and linens, some items just need to be thrown out. Prices were high on the decent items as compared to thrift stores in Metro-Detroit and Asheville NC. Almost no selection for boys clothing, very limited for girls and the organization of the clothes was terrible. Unfortunately, as one review said, this does appear to be the best we have here in Auburn.
