Prices have slowly gone up while selection in some departments have gone down. Housewares used to be a lot of fun to search through, but the section is much smaller now and just blah. Staff is usually not quite rude, but almost there.

College towns,with their affluent and transient population, are typically great places to thrift and NTY is no exception. Lots of selection: books, clothing, housewares, furniture, sporting goods, etc. The biggest drawback to NTY is their inconsistency in pricing.
