The Salvation Army Thrift Store

This store moved across the street in the Red Apple/brown Jug/ Bingo strip center. Not as big as before. A lot less furniture. Still a lot of clothes. As of November 2013 good friendly staff, mostly clean. As another poster said, bad side of town. Best be gone by 12 noon.

Not as spacious as the northern lights location, but the selection is better and so is the pricing- it's a pretty reasonably priced store. I usually find things here. It's not as organized. Usually full of people. But it's worth going to. One time I found an awesome leather jacket in the boys section, it was only 24.99 and it fit like a woman's small. It's things like that that make me appreciate this one.

Target dumps it's end of season clothing and stuff and most of it seems to end up at this store. Has several many clothing racks and glass counters of Targe castoff items--bug spray, make up, whatever. The rest of the store is good. Men's clothing of popular sizes (exa: 34x32 pants) are often depleted. Lately selected color tags are 75% off. Ladies clothing has good selection. Usually good kid clothes selection. Cookware is overpriced. Good book selection. A lot of furniture. I wouldn't take impressionable children to this particular Sallie Ann's past 12 noon. Good Saturday deals. The building says "Brewster's" in big letters.

Buried treasure can at times be found here. Parking is terrible especially when busy.

Good for books, very popular for clothes & furniture. Good sale days. I've really scored with book finds here.
