The prices run very high on clothing. Men's sweaters and ugly women's 90s clothes were strangely high. Housewares are less expensive.

My kids love going to the Book Barn kids room to see what treasures they can find! Recently we picked up a nice bookshelf and a bunch of Teacher Supplies for myself!

There is a woman here who sees me and raises the prices- no kidding! She is pushy and seems to think everything is worth tons of money, and that she knows it all. These are donations, you aren't supposed to try to get top dollar from donations! She prices too high, and is rude to boot. Other thrift shops I go to are much more reasonable. The other women here are lovely, warm and great.

Books are at $2 when the going rate is $1. The condition of the books are all over the map. Condition does not matter to them. Be very careful buying there. They lots of books that sit there for years....They run out of space and triple stack books too. They never give you a discount even if you spend more than $200.

Great Place. Gladly accept your book donations too. No place else around will do that. So glad I found it. Keep up the good work.

Great place to shop for used books and magazines. Thousands of books. Prices are reasonable. New stock arrives weekly. If you ask they will let you know if a book you want arrives at the Book Barn. Very customer friendly folks. They have many regular customers.

Books are so-so, a lot of them have damage and you have to be very careful. Their book prices are too high too. They don't take condition into consideration. Be Careful there.

This store is a large barn with several rooms packed with merchandise. The book department is huge - more like a large used book store. It actually is a "barn" and has a slightly musty/dirty feel overall.

Prices are too high for a thrift. We all like to support a good cause but the pricing is unrealistic. The inventory is the same and they don't lower the prices to move the stuff out.

A lot of the clothes are dated, but there's a great mix of decor, crockery, cutlery and a vast amount of vintage pieces. I found the volunteer staff exceptionally helpful and, although a little pushy, I found them charming in their enthusiasm for their cause.

They are clean, organized, & have a decent vintage selection...BECAUSE their prices are high for a thrift store. However, if you're a collector it can be worth the price. Cheaper than EBay/Etsy & no shipping. Plus I feel better paying a bit more in a charity shop than overpaying at an antique store. I noticed a lot of very nice women, but there was one who was a bit sour. I think she's the reason for the other comments.

Clean and well organized for a thrift shop. But SOMEONE PLEASE educate these volunteers about pricing and moving merchandise! OVERPRICED for a thrift shop - and every time you go there, it's the same stuff. Hmmm... why don't they try a bag sale or lower prices? All they're doing is keeping a place open to maintain the same old inventory. It doesn't help their hospital (because not enough people are paying $ for buying their stuff) and it doesn't help the public who is looking to spend $ on lower priced items. WHERE'S THE COMMON SENSE about this?????

Very inflexible about receiving donated goods. No sign posted that says that they do not receive donations AFTER 12:30 noon. I had to drag 3 big bags back to my car. I will not donate to this Thrift Store again. Have never seen a volunteer like this.

Volunteers leave with the best pieces. When I was there I saw a very nice watch. I went to buy it, and the volunteer said it was for a "friend", not for sale, and the proceeded to add it to a box FULL of watches and other stuff she was leaving with. What they leave, they price way too high. Staff seems like the customers just annoy them and probably would like us to leave. Never saw a church thrift store like this. A cookbook for $35. Could get on Amazon for 5. They need someone in there who realizes this is a THRIFT store. Shame on them for cheating their own charity. Other than that, the clothes are cheap polyester at high prices. Good thing they do not need to pay rent. Hospital owns building.

Suggest running biweekly sales with different colored stickers to move merchandise in and out and to rotate stock. Market store with a clapboard in front to advertise the sale special for the week. Be more diligent with organizing clothing sizes. Suggest in-store signs where clothing can be found. Store does have air conditioning and well lighted and fairly clean. Volunteers could smile more and smooze the customer.
