The financial assistance I receive from the Off Island Thrift Store is a tremendous help to me during my struggle with cancer. I am a very grateful, loyal supporter of this organization.

Great prices!!!! You don't have to dig thru any garbage. It's like shopping at Marshall's or a nice furniture store. But pay half of retail. Plus they have a great cause. They totally support locals with cancer. Two of my neighbors have been receiving checks from their charity Cancer Awareness!! It has helped them from loosing their car!! Thank you Off Island Thrift and Cancer Awareness you are a blessing to our community!!!

You guys have been such a blessing to my family. My dad is recovering from having his pancreatic cancer tumor removed. You guys have taken alot of stress off of my dad thanks for everything!

Off Island Thrift is a great store to shop at. I know from personal experience that $500-$1000 cash goes to support locals with cancer. I know because I've seen, felt, and sent the checks handed out to my family members from Off Island Thrift/ Cancer Awareness Foundation and never once did she ask my family for the money back. NEVER. When my aunt finished her treatment, she sent a letter in advance letting us know that it was a pleasure to assist us and that over the year and a half she gave my aunt over $9,000.00. So thank God that last blogger is a liar who needs to get their story straight because there is no way my aunt would have been able to pay all that money back. Thank you Karen and despite of these mean spirited people out here, I, as well as the others you've helped, appreciate what you have done for my Aunt's family, my cousin, and my neighbor who are all survivors and not scrapping pennies because of you. I think their prices are fine and your store is the best Thrift Shop in Beaufort better yet the best in South Carolina.

The folks at Off Island Thrift are amazing! When i was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, they didnt hesitate to help my family and I.....i truely do not know where we would be today without them!!

My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Our world was turned up side down. my work stopped so I could take him to the doctor appointments. my income stopped but not the bills. Off Island Thrift rescued us,paid our mortgage so we could remain at home. Peace of mind is priceless and their help made us have some meaningful time together.

A great place to find a bargain and all the money goes to charity! I know families they have helped. They are doing great work.

Nice selection, but this is the highest priced thrift store in Hilton Head.....even higher than goodwill. Also, they never run any sales.

I am very grateful for the assistance I recieve from The Cancer Awareness Foundation. You never think that you will get cancer and when you realize the cost of getting well, it is overwelming.I am able to pay my mortgage and concentrate on my treatment.

we always loved shopping here and recently my husband was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. this store has been great, their sales in the store help cancer familys with bills. Without their help right now, I am not sure if we could make it. Thank you so much for supporting this store!!!

Off Island Thrift Store has been a tremendous help to me and my family!

They change the prices on you at the cash register and don't ever leave anything on the hold table because they will re tag it while you are shopping; they even left the original tag on and just said "this is what it costs now!" and you know they are just taking those items home with them. Very rude. Very over priced. I even wrote the owner about what happened the last time I went in and never heard anything back. So many other good thrift stores in the area this one is full of swindlers and a waste of time and money.

I live in Savannah, Ga and I come all the way over here to this Island Thrift store for these bargans (awsome) I love it, I love it, I love it!!

Just have to say I am a guy and I hate to shop but everything in that store was organized by size and color and nice nice golf shirts that I normaly pay a large amount for were pennies on the dollar there. Aslo great service and I know my money goes to help a good LOCAL CAUSE. Thanks

This store is amazing in what they do!!! I watched my friend who has testicular cancer get a check to pay his rent and utilities as he has been out of work for 2 months while undergoing chemo. We called the other supposed Cancer thrift store in the are foe help and she said they dont do donations. They give to the american cancer society. Huh! I think there are more then enough good people needing that help here as my friend showed. I will be buying and donating to this store forever now! Thank you on behalf of Jim Kawolski, my freind in need! Your the BOMB!!

The biggest, cleanest thrift store I have ever seen. WOW, the sign says 20,000 sq. feet. I believe it, I was there for hours.

HUGE SELECTION OF CLOTHING REALLY GREAT PRICES, The furniture area is like A Furniture Store, only less than half the price. I was there shopping one day when I saw 5 or 6 people come in while I was there picking up checks. They support people with cancer while they were in treatment. So I asked the girls at the counter how many people come in each month, They support 20 to 30 @ a $1000 each person. No other store in the area disperses those kind of numbers! You can ask them,even better show up on the 25th of the month and you will see these people come in! I give them AAA+++

if this was true not for profit store, they would not charge sc sales tax. I found it over-priced to the real thrift store in the area.

Nice clean organized and really really big, this store has a great selection and price.The clothes are a all in excellent condition and are very cheap! The furniture is priced according to the designers so that makes sense. You can find chairs for $5, or designer chairs for $100 just depends on what your looking for. A++++

By far the best selection around. I buy my husband designer golf shirts for 5 dollars that cost 90 dollars new. 2 great stores save money and get great clothes. All profits go to cancer patients. You cant beat that.

Interesting place--huge amount of merchandise but prices are very very high. I think they would sell more if they reduced prices.

Love this store staff are great. I find they are overprice ....but sometimes you can barter the price down a little.
