If I could give 0 stars I would. The place is a mess. Doesn't look like anyone ever clean the place. The store smells like old moldy clothes. My son wanted to buy a book so we looked for a line. So standing at the register for more then five minutes just to be told that the reg. Line is completely on the other side of the store without a sign. Guess you need to be a mind reading to find it.
I bought a mic oven that didn't cook nothing. I ask for equal Value on something else, and had a hard time getting any help or even to see/talk too a manager. I was put off three times 1 of time was by phone 2 in person. The mgr tryed to not give me an fair exchange said no twice. I tryed to argue the point. I'm white my husband is black and black mgr made a point of saying he's only giving the exchange because of my husband and then had the never mind to try to say it was cause of the way I was high,tight,@ upset .
The clerks put the empty CD cases that someone left behind back into the rack again. The unpriced albums are put back on the shelf again even though they know they can't sell them like that - it's the same albums over and over and over. Frustrating!!!
If you had never been to a thrift store before, I'd suggest this one. I slightly prefer this value village to others in the area because of their wide selection. I think it helps that they actively seek donations, unlike most other chains. Prices run from crazy cheap to crazy expensive. Really?? a clothing store with no dressing room??? By god its true. Always a line outside the public restroom because someone is trying on clothes. Also I've found some fantastic stuff that they hang in plastic bags above the shelves. Don't overlook those bags!!!
Great selection of clothes and lots of other items.
good store just with all the employees spoke english
I like the fact that they are air conditioned now as opposed to summers past. I also like the 25% off everything sales (50% on holidays). The selection really cannot be beat. I have found things with the price tag still attached. I get the majority of CDs and tapes from Value Village. By the way, the store is in Brooklyn Park, not Glen Burnie.
I love this store for the selection and organization. Sometimes the prices are high, but I always find great things on 50% off sale days!
Love this place!
Love this place!
This is my favorite thrift store. a little pricer than most, but very well organized and clean. Also no dressing room.
I love this store. It has to be the most well-organized thrift store in the Baltimore area. I found indie rock CDs there for $1 each, and new-with-tags sweaters.
