New things every time I go in. Because they also consign, what I hope will go on sale will probably be picked up...or sold before I get there.

I can see truth in all the comments made here on both sides. I think it does have higher end stuff than most stores, and thus prices are higher. You will still get bargains, but it will be relative to the quality of what you are buying. In a store filled with junk it is priced like junk; cheap. And get the best thrill is to find a treasure in a store like this and you got a deal. This Bryn Marw store is filled mostly with the treasures, and so it's all priced like treasures. So you['re more likely to find a treasure, but less likely to get a major deal on it.

I have been going to this thrift shop for ages and am surprised by the other comments about this thrift shop. You need to keep going and you will find treasures. The best deal is the $1 bin were I have found amazing finds. Stop by and give it a chance. Take care and happy thrift shopping!

Weird layout, average furniture priced like precious antiques, and chain store used clothing (not a scrap of mainline vintage): no idea why this place is usually praised to the skies.

Different items are in different store locations, so have to walk out of each store to go to another. Very time consuming. Prices are Extremely High for used clothing! Very high for childrens clothing. Color tag of the week sale, but hard to find that color tag. Won't return.
