4224 Shelbyville Rd., Louisville, KY 40207
For the local area Goodwill Stores, this is one of my favorites. I always find something and have never had any issues with customer service.
Have found great clothing items at this location, but the thief of a manager (Darlene) and her cult like followers are down right rude! Gives special treatment to frequent shoppers!
I have shopped this store for several years and always felt the pricing was fair until the past few months; now for donated merchandise, it seems they are pricing at or above regular retail for many items. Although I feel it is for a good cause, if pricing is such, the tax rate should be the same as for other retail establishments.
I found a PLASTIC 3 tier shelf at this Goodwill, it as priced OVER $15.00.... went to Lowes, found the SAME exact shelf NEW for $14.99!!! You are pricing things WAY too high!
Furniture is way overpriced and is complete junk. And it is dark and dingy in there.
Staff is not friendly (maybe poor management?) One lady did not wrap my breakables in anything and I found them broken when I arrived home. The pricing is horrible (most expensive GW I've found in KY-except for books which are cheap as long as they aren't "special" in some way). The selection is nice, but I have found myself avoiding this thrift due to unfriendly staff and HIGH prices.
Given the part of town this store is in you would expect a better selection. Pricing schemes are odd.
Mgr. very unpleasant. Other employees very nice.
Decent selection but very high prices!
Mostly pretty typical for a Goodwill
I'll agree this Goodwill is overpriced and very small. Almost no shoes, furniture, handbags, or bedding. This location is depressing- looking for vintage finds next to people who can't afford to shop anywhere else makes you feel bad about hunting for bargains. Staff seems overworked, but were always friendly with me.
