This store takes in donations of furniture yet it allows most of those donations to sit out in the rain and be destroyed rather than give to people free or sell or even give to another thrift store so people can use the items.

I recently visited this business which gives you the "illusion" that it is a non-profit charity type organization on their signs and name of store. I decided to find out what charities they helped and how they gave back to the community by going in and starting a conversation with the owner.I was SHOCKED when I found out that they give ZERO donations to anyone & they were actually sending their own daughter to college with the profits made from this scam as well as paying off their home! He stated that by offering used items for sale that he justifies that he helps the community. What a load of bull.He has 4 of his family members operating this store so as not to have to split any profits as well with anyone outside his family. He said why should he have to go buy stuff from an auction if you could just put a "donation bin" outside and have it filled up every day. Of course I'm not donating anything to this blatant fraud. He should be ashamed of himself for using people who think they are helping. My advice to everyone is that they donate their unwanted items to a true "helping hands" like Catholic Charities or the Salvation Army. They actually do use profits to help people in need.

These people are ripping off the people who donate, selling items on ebay and pocketing the proceeds.

They have a nice layout with books, clothing, linens, glassware, in different rooms. They will help you to be on the lookout for your special needs. The people who work here are really nice folks.Stop by and see for yourself.
